About me
Martin Uhlir is an ardent photographer, traveller, climber, and adventurer. He is a member of Fotoklub Plzeň.
He loves many things, but mountains are his greatest pleasure.
He is evidently enchanted by the Alps, because he leaves his beloved Bohemian nature for another fascinating world every year.
He travels mountains in Europe, Asia, and North America. He carries his photographic apparatus including tripod to the heights where a man fights not only for survival, but also for every touch.
There he reels on scalar in the middle of ice and bears all the ups and downs of the weather, in order to gain a longed-for picture. He prepares properly his excursions months before the departure. He is able to photograph and travel under very modest conditions and he always tries to keep in touch with people living in these countries.
