Copyright Notice and Terms of Professional Use
Almost all photos on PhotoGallery Martin Uhlir are for sale. The photographs represented on this site constitute only a small amount of the images contained in my files. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have a particular image in mind that you may not initially see. I will be happy to let you know if I have something that may fit your needs.
- slides (Fuji Velvia, Provia, Sensia) and negatives (Kodak ProFoto, Supra)
- resolution 5600x3700 pixels format - TIFF, JPEG or others
- size - up to 60 MB for 24-bit files or up to 120 MB for 48-bit files
- bitdepth - 8 or 16 bits per channel
- sufficient for A3 (12.2 x 18.7 inches) prints at 300 dpi
- color profile - typically AdobeRGB or others
Free Use / Commercial Use
- Free Use (all-volunteer organizations)
- Free use will NOT be granted for fund raising activities, nor for ANY organization that has paid personel, or charges for services or membership. For consideration, contact me with the following information: Name, full address and background of the organization, Intended usage for the image(s), Address of the non-profit web site (if any).
- Commercial Use (for professional use)
- production to books, catalogues
- production to the calendars, the posters
- used to website, logos, puzzle, booklets, etc.
- outdoor advertising
Price - the cost of an image depends on its intended use. For consideration, contact me with the following information: Name, full address and background of the organization, Intended usage for the image(s), Address of the non-profit web site (if any).
General conditions for sale
Attribution. No free images or text may be used without carrying appropriate copyright information next to the images or text, acknowledging that the copyright to is owned by Martin Uhlir.
No Derivative works. All free images must accurately represent the original work and be used in their entirety. Tampering, additions, cropping, low quality reproduction, or other alterations and tranformations that would affect the integrity of the image are not permitted.
This does not mean that the title to the image was transferred to you. You own the medium on which the images or text are recorded, but Martin Uhlir retains full and complete title to the images or text, and any intellectual property rights therein.
Martin Uhlir reserves the right to make future changes to these guidelines.
Delivery - digital files can be placed online as ZIP files for you to download , FTP to your server, written on CD and sent by a courier (FedEx, DHL or other couriers' account), or written on CD and sent by airmail.
